In a small village surrounded by ranches, the Escarpita family started a ranch, nestled in the mountains of the Sierra Madre. In order to identify the ownership of their livestock, the family created a branding iron with a simple “E”.

The ranch has been passed down through the family over the years and while they no longer maintain a large volume of livestock on the ranch today, the brand lives on through Escarpita Construction. Jorge Escarpita, President, was given the last remaining original branding iron and was inspired by it’s history to use it as our logo today. In 2007, Jorge Escarpita founded Escarpita Construction. Being a Chicago native and a Graduate school alumnus of North Park University in Chicago, he also learned intimately what it meant to be part of the "City that Works". Jorge has been directly responsible for setting the strategy and goals of Escarpita Construction and is the driving force behind the company. Through hard work, dedication and a firm belief that continual organization was key to competitive survival and flourishing in the industry, he built the company to what it is today. Over the years, not only did our locations change to include expansion throughout the Midwest, but our book of business began to grow as well.  With projects ranging from $10,000 to $33M+ and the ability to scale up to 300+/- in the field, we have the office, programs and capacity in place to service our client's needs with efficiency, transparency and quality.
